Frequently Asked Questions

Is ADONIS BTS an ERP system?

No. ADONIS is a business-process-management (BPM) platform, not an ERP. It is used to model, analyse and optimise the processes that an ERP, CRM, EA and GRC landscape executes — not to execute transactions itself. Most ADONIS deployments sit alongside an ERP rather than replacing one.

How does ADONIS compare with Signavio and ARIS?

All three are established BPM platforms in Europe. Signavio has been part of SAP since 2021 and is increasingly positioned for SAP-aligned customers. ARIS (Software AG) has the deepest BPM tenure and a strong enterprise base. ADONIS differentiates through the integrated BPM-EA-GRC portfolio under a single vendor (ADONIS plus ADOIT plus ADOGRC), which fits organisations needing more than process mapping alone.

Which industries deploy ADONIS most heavily?

Financial services, insurance, public sector, energy and utilities, and large industrial enterprises — sectors where process documentation is part of audit, compliance or governance evidence. Reference customers include Airbus, Allianz, Emerson, Generali, Hilti, REWE and Telefonica.
