What belongs on this list – and what doesn't?

We gather sources here in which international ERP research is published or can be found: ERP/enterprise-systems journals, leading IS journals, academic conferences and scholarly databases. We deliberately left out individual (quickly dated) papers and textbooks – you'll find the latter on our books pages. That keeps the list evergreen.

How is ERP relevance labelled?

We transparently indicate how strong the ERP connection is: the ERP/enterprise-systems journals (JEIM, Enterprise Information Systems, IJEIS) are the most directly relevant; the top IS journals of the „Basket of Eight“ (MISQ, ISR, JMIS, EJIS, JAIS) are broad but publish the most influential ERP studies; computing databases (IEEE, ACM) are adjacent. That way you can see where ERP is central and where it is a sub-area. For each source we also note whether access is free, hybrid or paid.

How did we select and verify the sources?

We researched international academic ERP sources and verified each one individually: does it exist, is it active, and how strong is the ERP connection. We focus on established, evergreen sources. The sources in the German-speaking region are on a separate page.
