Häufig gestellte Fragen

Which German-language ERP podcasts are neutral, i.e. without vendor affiliation?

The neutral formats include ERP Inside by FH Kufstein (an academic publisher), the long-influential – but now dormant – ERP-Podcast.de by Prof. Axel Winkelmann, the publicly funded podcast of the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Handel, and our own editorial ERP podcast. The DSAG podcast “digital gesagt” is neutral from a user perspective but stays SAP-specific. Vendor and advisory podcasts also offer good practical input, but are naturally tied to a product or firm – we label the background of every show transparently.

Which ERP podcast is suitable for beginners?

For getting started, neutral, broadly framed formats such as ERP Inside (hands-on and academic) or the publicly funded Mittelstand-Digital podcasts work well, because they explain fundamentals clearly and vendor-neutrally. If you are evaluating a specific system, the respective vendor or partner podcasts (for example on SAP, proALPHA or Odoo) offer deeper product detail. Our ERP podcast summarises selection and implementation topics compactly for decision-makers.

Why German-language podcasts on the English site?

The English edition of erp-software.org is aimed at English speakers working in the German-speaking market. The podcasts that matter for ERP decisions in that market are predominantly German-language, so we list the same relevant shows as on our German page and describe them in English. We consider German-language podcasts with a clear ERP or business-software focus, a recognisable editorial value and, where possible, current activity, and we distinguish transparently between neutral, advisory and vendor-run formats.
